Inspired by the astonishing landscape of the South of France, the designs of Atelier Sauvage are an ode to the generosity of life
Offering a joyous and uninhibited vision of design Atelier Sauvage promote an artisanal approach to the manufacturing process of their furniture, celebrating work with 4 hands. Born and raised in the south of France, Paul and Albane met in Paris at the Ecole Boulle. They quickly began working together on extra-curricular projects.
They first made a unique coffee table, capturing the underlining fragility of the imposing mountains of their childhood homes with a leaning concrete base and a wooden tabletop. Together, they took the plunge and launched Atelier Sauvage in September 2015, where they create and build their own designs, mainly using natural raw materials such as wood, metal, stone, concrete, leather and glass.
Paul and Albane’s line of products is handmade and charismatic with spare, intuitive and wild aesthetics. Through each piece of furniture or decorative item built in their studio, they defend a craftsmen understanding of design and express positive emotions by means of geometrical volumes, colors, and different textures. Furniture and decorative objects are available as one-of-a-kind or in limited edition.

Mind Matters presents the Mind – a dry sounding, battling and rustling character – and the Body – a magnified image of a bouncy cell deep in the tissues of our insides – reacting to each other and outside influences. The film is informed by interviews from four professional who work with the mind and the body; a meditation teacher, a lucid dreaming, and a general practitioner who is also an hypnotist.
